Authorized Laykold Installer

The certification behind every court we surface.

Anyone can call a coating "professional grade". Authorization is checkable, so we publish ours below. Every court we surface gets genuine Laykold, applied by our own crew to the manufacturer's specification.

Genuine Laykold Surfacing

Laykold is the official court surface of the US Open, the BNP Paribas Open at Indian Wells, and the Miami Open — the only surface ever used across both Sunshine Swing events. Authorization means we buy material direct, are trained by the manufacturer, and apply to their published specification, so the system carries Laykold's warranty terms rather than a promise from a contractor.

Two things drive the system we specify in Florida. UV load is relentless year-round, so we use 100% acrylic that holds its pigment rather than a filled coating that chalks out. And because courts here stay wet — humidity, afternoon storms, dew that lingers in shade — the texture has to keep its grip damp, not just dry. On west- and south-facing courts we'll often add Laykold Chill for its heat-reflective pigments, which earn their keep in July when a dark surface turns unplayable by mid-afternoon.
